How we handle your information.

OkLocally is a one-person service operated by Julia Heldmann. This page explains what information we collect when you contact us or order a website, and what we do with it. The short version: we keep what we need to deliver your website, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.
1. Who runs this
OkLocally is operated by Julia Heldmann, based in Querétaro, Mexico. Contact: hello@oklocally.com.
2. What information we collect
When you fill out our order form or message us, we collect:
- Your name and / or business name
- Your email address and phone (or WhatsApp) number
- Your business address and city
- Information about your services, hours, and any photos or content you choose to share
- Domain name preferences
We don't use cookies or tracking pixels on this website. We don't run analytics that profile you.
3. Why we collect it
To deliver the website you ordered. That includes registering your domain in your name, building your site, sending you the preview link, processing your payment, and following up if there's an issue.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the third-party providers we need to deliver your service, specifically:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Cloudflare — domain registration and hosting infrastructure
- Email provider — for sending you the preview link and replies
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your contact information and order details as long as you're a customer (and for one year after your domain expires) so we can support you, renew your domain if you ask, and handle tax records. After that, or earlier if you ask, we delete it.
6. Your rights
You can email hello@oklocally.com at any time to:
- Ask what data we have on you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Have your data deleted (note: this may end your service if we still owe you a website)
- Ask us to stop contacting you
We respond to data requests within 30 days.
7. Cold outreach
If we contacted you first (via WhatsApp or email) about a free website preview, we sourced your business name, address, phone, and rating from publicly available Google Maps listings. You can reply "stop" or "not interested" any time and we won't contact you again.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, if you're a customer, we'll email you about it.
